It is the easiest first solo trip there is. You unpack once, transfers and meals are handled, and around 40% of the people there also arrived alone, so nobody has to explain themselves. For a first time, pick a shorter week in an easy-transfer destination rather than the most exotic option.

What makes it easy
One address for the whole trip. No daily logistics, no checking out at 11am with nowhere to go.
A structure to the day, which is what most first-timers are actually missing when they say they felt lost.
A built-in group. You do not have to be good at making friends in bars to end up with company at dinner.
Someone accountable. If something goes wrong there is a named person whose job it is to sort it out.

The thing first-timers actually worry about
Almost nobody says they are frightened of flying alone or of the language. They say they are frightened of walking into dinner on the first night and not knowing where to sit. It is solvable: arrive at dinner five minutes early rather than five minutes late. Early means you choose your seat and people come to you; late means you scan a full room. A good host also greets you by name at the door and keeps the first evening unassigned.
